Tammi Barron – Therapist, LAPC
Tammi is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor with over five years of experience supporting adolescents and adults navigating a wide range of mental health challenges. She earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Kean University and has since gained diverse clinical experience working in school settings, community-based outreach programs, and intensive outpatient treatment.
Tammi takes a compassionate, client-centered approach to therapy, integrating evidence-based practices such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. She is passionate about creating a safe, supportive space where clients feel empowered to explore their experiences, build resilience, and develop meaningful coping strategies.
As a proud native of Newark, New Jersey, Tammi has a deep understanding of the impact of community-related trauma and is especially committed to serving individuals from underserved and marginalized communities. Her work is rooted in cultural awareness, authenticity, and a genuine desire to help others heal and grow.
